The requirements of the Euro 6 D phase are basically equivalent to those of the National 6th B phase, but there are also some unique requirements. The certification process of the Euro 6D phase is also a process of deep cooperation with the OEM. Under the guidance and supervision of the VCA (Vehicle Certification Authority of the United Kingdom), engine bench testing, OBD related testing, VECTO related testing and PEMS roads have been completed. After testing and other work, in April and June of 2019, the Cummins Z14 engine was awarded UN/ECE and e-mark certification at VCA (Vehicle Authority Vehicle Authority) and STA (Swedish Ministry of Transport). At the same time, Cummins' other series of engines (from 2.8L to 13L series) are also actively preparing, and some have already started the certification work to meet the certification requirements of the OEM's Euro 6D stage.
