Engine Division's intelligent manufacturing system mainly consists of a binary command platform, an intelligent production scheduling system, an intelligent production support system (equipment management, tool management, and quality management) and a smart logistics system.

It is reported that the intelligent manufacturing target of the Engine Division will be implemented in three phases. The first phase will be from 2011 to 2015. It will complete the construction of a heavy-duty vehicle engine production base, and will basically realize an automated, digital, and networked production model. The second phase will be 2016. In the year 2020, smart upgrades will be implemented under existing conditions to build smart factories. In the third stage, smart manufacturing construction will be promoted to the design and sales of the business units to realize smart manufacturing throughout the life cycle. Qian Hengrong stated that the second phase of the intelligent manufacturing program of the engine business division has been approved and it is expected to invest more than 90 million yuan.

It is understood that intelligent manufacturing will increase the labor productivity of the Engine Division by 20%, equipment maintenance efficiency by 40%, logistic error rate by 50%, and product non-performing rate by 10%, creating an average annual economic benefit of approximately 21 million yuan for the engine division. .
