The China Society of Automotive Engineers and China Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association are preparing to serve as the Chinese automobile and machinery industry. In combination with the characteristics of China's auto parts industry, China has formulated the first comprehensive evaluation system for the competitiveness of Chinese auto parts companies.
The establishment of this evaluation system has been supported by the China Automobile Engineering Society and the China Automotive Industry Association, with reference to the suppliers evaluation methods of domestic and foreign key auto groups (GM, Ford, Honda, etc.), as well as the international results of research on corporate competitiveness. According to this evaluation system, the three research reports generated have not only analyzed in detail the national key spare parts enterprise groups and parts and components companies whose sales have reached more than RMB 100 million in the years from 2002 to 2003, but also integrated the company's main products. The “Investigative Report on the Comprehensive Competitiveness of Key Component Enterprises” and the “Research Report on the Main Product Competitiveness of Key Component Enterprises” will mainly study the comprehensive competitiveness of the key component enterprises and the relationship between the various components, and will follow the principles of the main product. Including all key enterprise products into the inspection scope of the five major 36 categories, according to the comprehensive concentration (market share) of the enterprise's products, the market competitiveness and market status of the main products of each enterprise are calculated. The indicators of key companies will be reflected in matrix tables so that horizontal and vertical comparisons can be made between key companies.
