Konecranes 100 tons front lift delivery

Recently, Konecranes Danish forklift dealer NC Nielsen delivered a 100 ton (MT) front hoist to the Jutlandia terminal in Esbjerg, Denmark, to help the terminal handle the blades and components of the wind turbine.

NC Nielsen customizes the device based on Konecranes' standard front suspension and is extremely powerful. The 9-meter track, the lifting hooks and the collapsible hydraulic support rolling wheels together achieve 100T lifting capacity. This front hoist is mainly used in wind turbine manufacturing where the individual blades can weigh up to 96T.

This 100T front hoist is customized according to customer's job requirements. Prior to this, Konecranes has successfully manufactured three 100T front hoists: two of them are supplied to Danish Blue Water Shipping (one in Esbjerg and one in Aarhus, Denmark); the third It was produced for Per Aarsleff and eventually delivered to the terminal in Beirut, Lebanon, for handling concrete blocks weighing up to 100T during the port expansion.
